We’re proud to see our very own April Smith recognized in The Wall Street Journal’s special report on Women to Watch in private equity for her excellent work leading Alpine’s investor relations. This year’s Women to Watch honorees from the fundraising and limited-partner world have shown not only an abundance of key skills, The WSJ writes, but they also have demonstrated leadership within their respective organizations. In over three years at our firm, April has contributed to raising our total assets under management from about $3 billion to more than $15 billion. Most recently, she spearheaded the fundraising efforts for Alpine’s ninth fund, which closed in June at its $4.5 billion cap, roughly double the size of our predecessor fund.

Congratulations, April! We’re so thankful to have you on our team.
