SAN FRANCISCO, California – June 6, 2026 – Alpine Investors , a people-driven private equity firm, today announced its recognition as one of the Best Workplaces in the Bay Area™ by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work, marking the fifth time Alpine has appeared on the list.
To determine the list, Fortune partnered with Great Place to Work, which collected more than 70,000 confidential survey responses from firms in the Bay Area via its proprietary platform. The survey allowed employees to share confidential quantitative and qualitative feedback about their organization’s culture by responding to 60 statements on a five-point scale and answering open-ended questions.
Companies were ultimately ranked based on their ability to foster consistently positive experiences and build trust across leadership, colleagues, and the broader organization.

To be eligible for the Fortune Best Workplaces in the Bay Area list, companies must have at least 10 U.S. employees, be headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, and be Great Place to Work-Certified™.
Earlier this year, Alpine Investors earned the Great Place To Work® Certification™ for the seventh consecutive year. Based entirely on employee feedback, 95% of employees said Alpine is a great place to work, a score 3 points from last year and 38 points higher than the average U.S. company, underscoring the impact of Alpine’s PeopleFirst philosophy.
